1. General Usage
By using DoraBot, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service, which govern your access to and use of the bot. DoraBot is designed to enhance your experience on Discord by providing various functionalities. While using DoraBot, you must respect the community and follow the rules set forth in the Discord Terms of Service. The bot is a privilege, not a right, and we reserve the ability to revoke access at any time without notice.
DoraBot strives to provide a smooth and beneficial service, but we cannot guarantee that the bot will always function perfectly. From time to time, updates, maintenance, or unforeseen circumstances may affect the bot's availability or functionality. By using DoraBot, you agree that you understand these limitations and accept any risks associated with using an automated service.
2. Prohibited Activities
When interacting with DoraBot, you are prohibited from engaging in illegal or unauthorized activities. This includes, but is not limited to, attempting to hack or manipulate the bot, using it to harass or harm others, or inviting it to servers that violate Discord's Terms of Service. Specifically, you may not use DoraBot for any NSFW (Not Safe for Work) behaviour or in any NSFW server.
Additionally, you are not allowed to upload or transmit any harmful, malicious, or inappropriate content through DoraBot. This includes any content that could disrupt the bot's operations or cause harm to other users. Violations of these rules can result in immediate blacklisting from using the bot, and you may be reported to Discord or other authorities if necessary.
3. Age Requirements
DoraBot is intended for users who are at least 13 years old, in compliance with Discord's age restrictions. By using the bot, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly collect or store personal information from users under 13 years of age. If we become aware that a user is under 13, we will take appropriate actions, including removing access to DoraBot.
For users between the ages of 13 and 18, we recommend that you have your parent or guardian review these Terms of Service with you to ensure you understand the rules and expectations. While DoraBot does not collect sensitive personal information, it is still essential to use the bot responsibly and respectfully.
4. Third-Party Services
DoraBot integrates with various third-party services to enhance its functionality, including but not limited to the Google API and OpenWeatherMap API. We are not responsible for any actions or omissions of third-party services and are not liable for any issues arising from their use. Should any of these services change or become unavailable, DoraBot's functionality may be impacted. We strive to maintain compatibility, but there may be situations where adjustments are necessary.
5. Content and Conduct
All users must adhere to Discord’s community guidelines and avoid inappropriate conduct while using DoraBot. This includes respecting other users, avoiding spam, and ensuring that any content shared through the bot is appropriate and follows Discord’s policies. You are solely responsible for the content you generate or share using DoraBot.
DoraBot is a tool intended to foster positive experiences, and any misuse of the bot that harms others or disrupts the Discord community is strictly prohibited. Should any harmful behaviour be detected, we reserve the right to terminate your access to the bot immediately and without prior notice. Continuous violations may lead to a permanent ban from using DoraBot.
6. Violation and Enforcement
If you violate any of the rules outlined in these Terms of Service, we reserve the right to enforce consequences, which may include but are not limited to blacklisting your Discord account, removing the bot from your server, and reporting violations to Discord or relevant authorities. The decision to enforce such actions is at the sole discretion of the DoraBot team.
If you believe that a violation has occurred or that you have been unfairly penalized, you may contact the DoraBot support team. We will review the situation and make a decision, but please note that our decisions are final. Additionally, repeated offences will result in stricter penalties, and severe violations may lead to permanent blacklisting.
7. Modifications to the Terms of Service
We may update or modify these Terms of Service from time to time. We cannot guarantee we will notify our users of the changes; every individual user is responsible for making sure they're up-to-date with our Terms of Service. By continuing to use DoraBot after any modifications, you agree to the updated terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the bot.
